Animated documentary about light, studied from different points of view: emotional, natural, artificial. The fear of the dark, day and night, animals in the darkness, historical discoveries and inventions (fire, torch, candle, electric bulb). The film is dedicated to the bulb inventor Alessandro Cruto, for his inspiring desire to know. Electric light is presented starting from the electric circuit, studied during a class workshop. Closing topics are light games (photography, shadow theatre, fireworks) and a thought of our environment.

The animation uses many experimental techniques like lightpainting and battery torch lighting.
It was made by 70 7-y old pupils of an Italian Primary school. The lights in the opening title are electric circuits built by the kids themselves.
